Clemency the Frog at "Jungle Juice"
Clemency has been on an Speech and Drama summer course this week. It is run at the Woodlands Pre-Schools here in Hong Kong and by Miranda’s sister Antonia who is the Speech and Drama coordinator for them. At the end of the week the put on a short production for the parents on the jungle theme.
Clemency was the frog, had her own costume and lily pad. They did some acting, singing, dancing and prancing. It was fun for us to watch and Hadley was dying to get involved. At one point the elephant was making his trumpetting sound and everyone was meant to be scared but the little frog yelled out, “The frog is not scared of the elephant, the frog is not scared of anything” (big grin and a lot of attention seeking looks at the audience) reminds me very much of a younger sister I have.
There will be a bunch of photos to go up soon but I have added this one for the a taste.
It was a really great little play with all the kids getting involved. It is important to get Clemency out of the house at the moment but it sure is a hot walk up the escallators to the top of the mid-levels at lunch time to drop her off – so hot and sweaty.
